With no utility grid in place, Blake and his team are able to put in distributed generation to offset the gap between the grid getting placed and their production. Once the grid has been placed, Blake and his team provide backup power for customers. This work helps companies manage the physical and financial risk associated with power.

A firm believer in the value of family, Blake makes sure that he spends just as much time with his family as he devotes to his professional life. After purchasing a ranch about 45 minutes northwest of Houston, Blake and his family began producing sausage and smoked products for a successful local meat market that holds a high reputation in their community. Active members of their chamber of commerce, Blake and his family are considered pillars of their community. Blake even purchased a restaurant that’s been his family since 1939 and is now a 3rd generation owner with his wife managing the restaurant.
